We had extra chana masala after the transfer dinner tonight, so I brought it back to House. It wasn't heavy, really, but after carrying it for five minutes with my arms all bent (it wasn't terribly convenient to carry, either), I now feel like a mashed potato, and don't really want to get up from my chair. Ever.
DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!! Well, I mostly liked it; it was a complete breather from the series plot, which was sort of disappointing but also expected and still decent. It was obvious that someone was going to get turned into a doll, and I was kind of glad it wasn't Rory—he dies, all the time, so having Amy get turned into a doll was a bit better. On the other hand, that basically made Amy look completely incompetent and Rory relatively useless (even though their plan was awful), so I think the writers could have handled that bit better. This was one of those episodes where the existence of Amy and Rory was pretty much ... well, to cause problems for the Doctor, though in this case they hardly even did that. I liked the guest star, though, whoever he was; he did a very good job being a substitute companion while Amy and Rory were trapped in the dollhouse.
The plot wasn't the most cohesive, though. Did everything that went in the elevator get sucked into the dollhouse? Why did the old woman get pulled into the trash pile, and where did she go, and why did everyone reappear right where they had left off? Still, it was a relatively creepy episode, all in all, and would have been even more creepy if I hadn't run into a time limit after about two thirds of it. :P I should really figure out how to watch it in America.
